Hi, there is a typo in the code at 1:53, StreamBuilder class does not exist, StreamsBuilder is what we need

Is it okay to use Kafka stream for multiple consumers with different data for each consumer?

Yeah, provided you create separate Streams for each consumer, you want to filter, Consider this just like Java Stream API, which does not modify your actual dataset, rather creates an inmemory copy and delivers output only when a terminal operation is called

I love the explanation, but I really don't get how this is done in Java instead of Scala, when the whole abstraction would be so much easier to udnerstand
