This tutorial is very good, people need to like this because conform object is a tool that I think everyobody needed atleast once in their life but they didnt want to pay the 12 dollars on blender market. Here we have all that for free. You deserved a like and sub💪

I've been trying for weeks to work out how to do this, to get some complex 3D meshes of proteins to snap to a nanoparticle - basically a sphere, but absolutely wasn't going to pay for the Conform Object plug in! And it works perfectly.

For some reason it dosn't work, as soon as I use the Sw the mesh I want to project just explodes.

The problem is that i am trying to project stone block on an uneven surface and the stone block frontal face get deform while they need to stay flat, any clue?

So it's basically an add on that does the exact same thing as a lattice does without any add ons?

I think you mean to say "modifier" and not plug in :D

The snapping method looks like a crutch, but it works quite well even for long meshes. Thank's man, your tutorial helped me a lot.

Does this need to be done a specific axis, to work properly? Trying to accomplish this with a design we've been working on here and when we get to the rotate/scale step everything goes wonky haha.

I don't understand what purpose the plane sserved?

First, I spent an hour trying to get the actual Conform add-on to work properly before giving up in bewildered frustration.
