The Confraternity SG of barbecue is consolidated as one of the biggest and best barbecue events in southern Brazil. In its 12th edition, in March 2023, it brought together more than 3,000 people at Arena SG, in the community of Serra Grande, in the city of Gramado, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
It was a real spectacle of roasts, washed down with a good cold draft beer, which could be accessed at dozens of taps arranged in the area of 3,000 square meters.
The various stations, with renowned roasters from Brazil and abroad, prepared whole ribs, lamb on the stake, pork, crackling pork belly, chicken clothesline, and even a whole 300-kilogram steer, all over the most typical floor. Not to mention the stuffed sausages, the pork shanks, the roasted strips, and even a vegan option, which were steamed on grills and special equipment.
It was seven hours on a very sunny Saturday, lots of joy and first class barbecue. And all animated with a lot of music by the duo Guilherme and Santiago.
