The Healthy Donkey by Sarah Fisher & Trudy Affleck is directed toward donkeys/burros but could be interpreted toward horses too. It includes insight into what it's REALLY like training equines. It has so many little bits in this book that have majorly impacted how I view all my training methods!
@aleksa-eq10 ай бұрын
@@Mustangsinfinity I read that one too! So well written!

You are so awesome, Marina! I absolutely loved being able to mentor you and be a part of your journey inside The Confident Equestrian Program! And thank you for inspiring me to turn CEP into a membership as well so it's even more accessible for people. You rock!

I highly respect you for this ❤Most people would just look over this because they don't want to dedicate the time to do this research! You're going to be such an amazing trainer one day and I'll be able to say I've been here since the start!

Luke Gingerich came and visited my college last semester and brought Chloe, Rio, and his mustang Zara. He did a liberty demo and I got a little liberty lesson with him and my mustang. I had been following him for a while before this so it was so cool to meet him in person and get to talk to him. The Horse Conformation book was a required book for my equine conformation class at college! I did buy it instead of renting so I could hold on to it for the future.

That is awesome you got to take a lesson from Luke!! It seems like you're in the right spot lady!! Jim Masterson requires it for his massage therapy course too so thats how I found out about it!!

Luke is good friends with Jesse Westfall who is the head trainer at my college so Jesse invited him! If you are looking for more horse training content Stacy Westfall has some videos up on KZfaq that are really good!

I love Patrick King! He does 1-2 clinics at my barn every year and I’ve been participating every time for the past few years. He has such a great way of explaining things, I always get so much done during his clinic.

how cool! I'd love to attend one of his clinics!

I currently am loving Warwick Schiller, Patrick King, TRT training (Tristan Tucker), and my favorite Karen Rorlf! The last three have a dressage slant, but are the best of horseman. Looking forward to who you have found inspiration from!! PS glad to see a longer video from you! So exciting, and I'm so glad to see your slice of life videos! 😄😄

I am currently watching the video but it’s so cool that you brought up Buck Brannaman, I am kinda related to him! (Not by blood) My great grandma was his foster mom! And my grandpa helped him learn some of his training! I thought that was interesting. I love your videos! Thank you for sharing such amazing tips!

I am fairly experienced in my horsemanship and riding but I had a couple of bad falls on my last BLM mustang that really crushed my confidence. I have been working with a trainer with my young Arab but recently started an online course called Fearless Mastery by Your Riding Success that has REALLY helped my mental clarity.

Yay!! I hope you recover quickly and healthy!! You’ve grown a lot (I feel it xD) and it’s awesome, I’m in my preteen stage and I’m currently not too confident on my girl, but this video helped, tysm!! 🎉💗

i am also a preteen and i started riding about a year ago but it was not riding every week it was a student assitante program. so i was around horses but not riding. the people and horses i had bonded with moved 3 hours away. There is 1 barn that is close and it does not feel right to me. I also have no way to pay for lessons but my mom and i do not want to spend her money and time. but i am hopeful. if you cant ride right now stay hopeful and keep your fire alive. If you read this far thank you for staying.

@@TallyWells I read through the whole thing, thank you so much, I’m still riding to this day and I hope you can too. I understand it can be unaffordable sometimes 😅

@@Gymkanna_EditzOfficial thank u so much I am going to keep riding I just have to hold on it till the time is right This helps so much the move of the people I rode with was not a willing move. Someone bought the ranch out from under them. If you want to know more look up what happened to mar vista stables San Francisco thank you Ps the story online is much more civil then what happend Zachary is a con man and neglects his horses

@GypsyEquestrian10 ай бұрын
I will, but I spent a whole year not updating on my mustangs so I need the time to catch up. I will being putting out comedy videos again but I just can't handle doing all of it at once. But stay tuned and check back in the fall for those!
