Hi Ms Goldy! We are in the same situation, my 8 months old son was diagnosed with aortic stenosis. He had undergone balloon valvotomy last Oct 2020. Last week during the 2 d echo, our pedia cardio found out that the valve was narrowed again and were advised to repeat the procedure. Supposedly, open heart surgery is the best way but because of his young age and weight it is not suited. My heart is broken knowing that the progress was fast. May I know how old is your daughter? Our pedia cardio mentioned also about Ross procedure.

@@giannlaurente1157 Omg why am I so emotional! Finally found a person to talk to that's on the same journey as I am. Sure I would love to share, so my daughter just turned 4 she had the ballooning done at 11 months and we pushed to intervene for the same reason cause she was so small and young. But now her symptoms are getting worse I shipped back her monitor today so that her cardiologist can have a better understanding of what's going on cause she could be playing calmly and the next second scream, cry and puts her hands on her chest. Also shes very tired and no appetite. In the meantime I've been sitting online researching the Ross Procedure, and finally after so long I found enough information and I'm confident that the Ross is the way to go. I found one particular video that really covers everything about the Ross I'm gonna give you the link.

@@giannlaurente1157Aaawww Thank you so much! You're so sweet Gianna, I will be praying for your son, I know it's really tough and it all does happen for a reason. They're just little babies and already going through big bumps in life. Since my daughter came out from her valvotomy with a leak at this point we already havta do the big invasive surgery, but I pray your son will be able to put much more years in before having to do that. Ugh it's such a struggle, I remember the echo and ekgs when my daughter was little 😖 dont worry it gets easier when they get older.
