Күн бұрынKnown as 'America's first seaside resort', the first Congress Hall was built in 1816. It burned to the ground in 1878, but was rebuilt with brick within a year.
At the time this video was shot, the hotel had not had a major renovation. A major restoration was initiated in 1995, and completed in 2002.
