kevjtnbtmglr That's rather shocking and disturbing. We didn't anticipate 9/11 happening either, so I feel it's in America's interest that Rep. Johnson gets on top of that ASAP! That's too many military lives to risk. The solution may be as simple as everyone in Guam should be required to wear a life vest 24/7.

That's an astoundingly reductionist summary of a doctoral student's article. I went to Oxford as well, have 2 MAs, and am a Democrat - And I know for a "fact" I'm not the only one breaking the Dem's IQ bell curve. Carl is a sociologist, not a psychologist: His thesis only functions in the context of the socio-economic profiles of each party's constituents, access to quality education in minority communities, and abnegation of the neurological reality that intelligence is malleable (because the brain is malleable), and that IQ as such is a static number that doesn't account for dynamic human experience. So no. Not "fact." If nothing else, as an intelligent person, you should know that just because a DPhil candidate publishes a controversial article, that does NOT make it a fact.

The very best of Hank was when he was questioning Admiral "Rat" Willard about the Marines and their families being relocated from Okinawa to Guam, Hank was worried that the island of Guam would capsize.
