Today we are Walking from Barakhamba Road in Connaught place to Palika Bazar through outer and inner circles of Connaught places. We will see the G20 Beautification of Connaught place with redevelopment, renovation and painting of the Entire connaught place complex. We will see odean cinema, pvr plaza, wenger's, Rivoli cinema, Regal Cinemas, Palika Bazaar in today's journey.

Remembered the incident of new jersey usa. Police were astonished by the red spots on the road side for a time. So they put cctv camera on that road. From the footage they realised that people coming from a particular shop are spitting on road. Police confronted the shop owner of the pan shop and gave warning to remind people not to spit on road nearby. The shop owner took it literally and made a board that people should not spit in 150 metre area around the shop. So people started spitting a little far away. Latter police had to fine the shop owner for not following rules properly.

@@Tir2002 lots of south Asian people in usa. India,pakistan,nepal, Bangladesh ,burma, Bhutan,etc uses paan or beetalnuts and spit on public places. Some parts of newyork and New Jersey you may find spit marks. There is a fine for spitting in public of about 200 dollars.

Brother it's not because of pan, it's because of gutka. Pan shops of CP are famous due to different varieties of pan. Those who spat on the walls are the ones who eat gutka, rickshaw wale and homeless beggers in CP.

1:39 shouldn't this crosswalk/zebra crossing be a little to the front where people are actually walking?? As of now this crosswalk is under utilized, and instead vehicles are on top of the crosswalk? Even as a commoner I can spot this flaw, what are the people who actually work for it smoking? Do they not see this ? What is the god awful paintjob they've done ? Saare spots neeche dikh rahe hai. Yeh sab temporary basis pe karke koi fayda nhi hai. The yellow and black paint on the divider is looking very ugly 🤢 Aur bc woh paan wala yaha kya kar raha hai ?? Honestly I'm feeling like kuch bhi kar lo yeh desh ke log nhi sudharne wale.

You can see the difference. CP is built during the colonial rule. Its systematic organised with future planning. Now tell me is there a shopping market in India which is built like CP. We Indians used to brag like anything but we're still at the bottom pyramid.

CP is now old, overly-crowded and filthy. So what if they clean it up for G20? it's soon going to be as mismanaged as always. They need to take off the pressure from CP and come up with an alternative, on the lines of Aerocity, minus hotels. Thanks

why we need an international meeting or some big event to make the beautification and cleaning of our cities? We must keep our environments always nice and clean. Our cities are always dirty, pouted, desorganized, with,insane traffic. People with no civic sense, no discipline , no respect to others and to get worse everywhere animals like cows, dogs, goats, crows, monkeys are roaming around......this is like hell
