Nope, only when you need to connect / charge it :)

@@IdeasCreationsInventions Ok, thank u, but if i turn the bluetooth off in my Ipad, i'll need to connect the usb-c cable and the adapter to be able to use the pencil, right? Of course after connect the pencil, i'll remove the cable and adapter.

If you turn off the Bluetooth you can just turn it back on and the pencil should connect again automatically since it was already paired so you don't need to plug it in again :)

@@IdeasCreationsInventionsSorry, but it doesn't happens in my Ipad 10th. Every time i want to use the pencil, i have to plug the pencil in the adapter and the cable, and plug the cable in Ipad 10th. If i just turn the bluetooth on, the pencil doesn't work. :(

@@pdantasjacome Oh that's strange, that's not the case with my iPad. I put mine on Airplane Mode every night and in the morning the pencil automatically connects.

Is it the lightening to type C ? Or Lightening to Type C ? For later you can use Lightening to Type C cable. It may work.

Sorry for the late reply, I have a lot of comments. I think your pencil was produced before the iPad 10 was released which is really annoying but that'd explain why you don't have an adapter.

Anyone buying this shit is a blind apple fanboy, this is a horrible way to charge something so important and there's far better tablets for even cheaper from Samsung, Microsoft or even Lenovo but people will die just for Apple's ecosystem

Ive used samsung with its own pen. Im so glad i have samsung , no wires needed to charge the pen, no connection issues. The ipad pen looks nice but its crazy you have to connect it to charge it and there is no magnetic strip. Apple is so far behind
