In my opinion manually editing your audio recorded with a mic (adding EQ, Compressor Etc) Is better than using Adobe enhancer The only place that AI tool shines is in a situation where you didn't use an external mic, or in a noisy environment

Oh... I see. You are right. The Adobe enhancer is good for iPhone-only content creators. However, I noticed that the audio from the mic is bright and sharp when placed too close to the mouth or dull when it is far from the mouth. With Adobe podcast, it sounds way better as if it is right in your front at a perfect distance MINUS the background noises irrespective of the distance to your mouth. That's why my rode mic - this mic is now hanging above me during my videos out of frame yet captures my voice naturally. I will upgrade to a Rode boom mic in the future. I have this and followed your instructions. However, I don’t think the audio from recording is loud. Any tips on how to adjust this? I have my gain assist on medium right now

You can boost it during editing.

Not really. Even for mobile video editing (without the use of Audacity or similar software), the audio quality is decent. You can tell me your video workflow and I can tell you what to do to get the maximum and possibly, the best audio output from these little guys.

If your phone is USB C, do you still need to buy a cable?

First, you need to get a type C cable. And not any type C cable will work with it. Even if it works, there is a tendency for clipping in audio to occur. To be on the safer side, it is recommended to use RODE type c to c cable. Hope you understand, my friend.
