This movie is doing good because a lot of people have this ANIMAL subdued within due to fake morality. The father son relationship is kind of a glue to hold all the violent scenes together. That said, this movie is nothing more than a blow to the fake morality of people. People who are blindly following some moral principles due to the fear of law and society. Such movies provide people with validation and a chance to live in that freedom of experience. Until our society understands the reasons behind acting morally, such movies will keep coming and will do good at the box office. Its a pity on the Indian society. I hope one day, people understand why women should be respected, not because of fear of law but true understanding. Only then people will prefer to watch Sam Manekshaw over this video game. Cheers!!

Mr.Reddy I am a woman and I loved the film to the hilt..You and Ranbir ,all the actors and the background score brought back the thrill of watching a movie in the theatre. Sandeep Vanga! is a master storyteller. Unlike a traditional director, he thinks out of the box and does not care what the damn critics will think about his film. He tells a story that he wants to tell - hats off Sandeep sir! I really wish our Bollywood directors would learn a two about story telling from Sandeep sir. Thank You for bringing Vanga. I Love Sandeep Vanga's vision. He is intense and I appreciate his way of thinking. As a woman, I also identify with his vision, story n direction. The love for his father, the detailing in Ranvijay's character. the protective nature towards his sisters and his talent to bring the family together. The proactive n bold nature to go fight the enemies. I have watched Arjun Reddy 6times. Kabir Singh 2times. Animal I plan to watch 10times more because I love the movie so much it has so many layers. Ranvijay as a son, brother, husband, family unifier and emotionally intelligent person as multilayered protagonist. Kudos. The Sikh community is shown is both good and bad light, esp. the brother loyalty is in both lights. And the reason to convert or the religious depth along with inter-community/lang marriage. No one also talks abt Ranvijay studied n worked in US coz his wife went there to pursue higher studies. I can go on on but lets hope someone reads my words n analyses n appreciates for its detailed nuances.

And the way that scene ends, one would think, it will end nicely after he apologizes his brother in law but no, it ends right with his dialogue saying to his father that we neither can stay together in this house nor in this country. Absolutely mind blowing.

Animal is one of the finest films from Bollywood. People moan about the runtime but that is its biggest strength. The film has time to breathe and characters have more impact due to the extended runtime. The writing of this film is a masterclass in screenplay writing since every scene and every dialogue had meaning and context to it. This film single-handedly has the best action scene in any Bollywood film hands down. There's weight to this film and there are actual consequences to this film. Sandeep sir has not only directed this masterfully but has justified every single character. We need more gems like these.

Hat's off to this guy's craft. This is why the movie is doing well, same repeated concepts and story points that have been crafted and presented brilliantly which is attracting the audience like bees to a queen bee. Yes, there are a couple of few extremes portrayed in the movie, but they are either justified in the context of the film or can be excused/dismissed as irrelevant scenes which do nothing for the film. However, anyone who loves cinema OR anyone familiar with film making process, one cannot miss the brilliant craftsmanship. Sadly, Film Companion (who I admire a lot) and some of the other detractors have took it personally and lost the plot.
