I continue to build the road. I need to connect these three separate puddles together. Because I ditch the dig on the other side and then all the water will be able to drain away.
✅Follow the other series on this 4.7 km forest road - • 4.7km forest road
Excavator : Volvo EC220E 25tons 2018year
Driver : as always Mr.AJ
Country : Latvia
Road type : Forest road - intended for logging and forest management
Bucket : V-ditch bucket

Have been doing this same thing but on a much, much smaller scale. Our winter snow has been melting and collecting in puddles, so am making drainage channels with a hand shovel and hoe to drain the puddles which leads to faster drying. Envious of your equipment, skill, and making videos that you post for us. thanks

Why not put in a land drain in that ditch you have dug . For example a pipe with holes in it wrapped in Terram back full with gravel or clean stone . And send it miles away should find it’s own way with all the trees around

It seemed to me that it was better and more practical to pour gravel on this road. Thereby raising the level of the road above the forest level. And do not make the pool long in the whole forest and then heroically fight with the water that fills it. Or am I wrong?
