This state-of-the-science Webinar, recorded on November 15, 2019, explored the care of women and girls with connective tissue disorders, including a special focus on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. The faculty addressed specific issues and needs that individuals with connective tissue disorders have; differentiated between the various types of connective tissue disorders; discussed comorbidities between hypermobility and bleeding disorders; described the treatment strategies that are recommended for symptom management; and described the importance of collaboration between disciplines for effective management and treatment.
