We tried for three weeks with four different car electricians and mechanics as well as calls to Halfords technical help desk (who we believe also called yourselves) to get a JVC unit to work in my Discovery3. And no matter what anyone did it wouldn't work. If anyone wants to take this on as "I'll fix it no matter what" then please feel free but all the cables that were recommended to us just don't work. Happy to work with anyone who can make it all work.

I couple the remote connector on the bass amp with the battery power. It works, but like my battery if I don't drive the car for a few days. It because the all is always powered. I have a 2005 Skoda Octavia 2 with the factory fitted 'premium' sound package which consists of the Audience head unit, the Lear Corp. amplifier under the passenger seat and 12 speakers (2 speakers + 1 tweeter for each door). A few days ago, I swapped out the stock HU for a Chinese android unit, but I am not getting any sound from my speakers. After a lot of searching on the internet, I know that only the stock head units (and some compatible aftermarket head units) are able to communicate with the stock amplifier. This was disappointing as I quite like the sound of the stock amp+speakers and was hoping to use it with my new HU. Any way to make the amplifier work with the new HU Here is a picture of my amplifier for reference (I am guessing this is the same Dynaudio amp that comes on VW models) so i understand that i must buy canbus som can give an order to the amp at work with i am wondering if you have this CANBUS i see that on the internet that your canbus are work it fine thesis why i ask you before i buy it my car info skoda octavia 2005 original amplifier is with sound premium Everything is working fine, just the amp cant switch on and condition can't be seen on the android multimedia stereo If I am unable to use the stock amp, what kind of amp should I be looking at getting (power, how many channels etc). Thanks for your brilliant information, I have a peugeot 308 Mk1 2012 (version facelift) and I changed from the common original head unit to an Chinese android one which has to many more features include GPS, bluetooth etc etc. My problem is a bit diffrent from the video you showed, I set the cambus to my car make and model and when the unit switched on my centre dashboard control display begin blinks even If I set it up and it comes good when I change from radio station to one another it lost control and do the same start blinks again. One day I found another setting from the cambus and the display comes good it stays steady when I change the radio station or to change to a cd, but my steering controls stoped function. Any suggestions please what can I do ?

Hi, I have just fitted a Connects2 CTKFD09 with a Sony XAV-AX1005DB stereo, cannot get the steering well controls working despite trying everything. I have disconnected and reconnected multiple times but still no communication, it was erratic at first and the volume would ramp up to max so you would have to quickly turn it down and it stabilised. The headunit has an option to set SW controls up but the programming fails, I managed to get one button programmed when it went orange but then it locked up and would'nt go any further. Any advice would be appreciated, I have opened a ticket via your website but no reply as of yet.

My Astra H 2010 has a Xtrons ( PX71OLO-B ) Aftermarket headunit fitted and the wheel controls just wont work I have taken the headunit out and tried various things but still no joy. Yes, but how do I proceed when the head unit does not have a 3.5 SWC input? My head unit, the Kenwood DDX5707s, doesn't have this remote 3.5 input and the manufacturer is insisting that I can use a 3.5 adapter with bare wire ends to do it, but can't tell me which wire. The wires are labeled ambiguously, so I'm not sure if the wire labeled "remote" is the correct wire. If only it were this easy for me!
