I'm answering all of your questions about my minimalist lifestyle and personal questions too.
I'll talk about how I make money as a minimalist, where I live, and what my family thinks about minimalism. I give my minimalist wardrobe tips.
A few of your questions:
How does a minimalist live? What do minimalists buy? What are simple hair and makeup tips? How does minimalism work with kids and husbands? What to wear when you're over 40?

Hi Connie, I just want to say that I’ve never thought you were too slow speaking. Your pace of talking is lovely and calm. It also helps because I struggle with auditory processing and often need subtitles. I’m 36, I love your videos and you look gorgeous at 48!

Yes..as an Asian it is sometimes painful to listen to Americans talk..high pitch, very fast n loud n kind of nervous n would make me have anxiety n fast breathing..unlike American youtubers, most (not all) Asian youtubers either don't speak at all or speak very little n the volume is slower...that' why I choose to listen to American youtubers who only speak softly like Dr Berg, Cottage Fairy etc.. however, this is only my personal preference..

I think you are one of the classiest women I have ever witnessed on KZfaq or any other social media venue. Possibly because you are so true to yourself and the people you interact with yet you are never trying to be someone else. There is to much jealousy in our world today and you have done the hard work of excepting yourself right where you are in life and where you want to be. I look forward to your videos and meditation channel each week. Can’t wait to hear about your next adventure.

I love the pacing of your speech, as it is calming and easy to comprehend and to be present with you. As someone else stated, I feel other youtubers speak much too quickly and edit their videos to cut out any natural breaks. Keep doing what you’re doing. 😊

That was fun! As I watched & listened to this, I realized that I never had any questions in the past while watching your videos. I just focused on the messages. I never thought that you spoke slowly and many other things that were brought out through people's questions. I'm 68 and embraced my silver & dark brown hair later in life. I'm so much happier accepting it's natural color. I wear it below my shoulders and often wear it in a loose French braid. I often get many compliments on my hair from all age groups, which at first, shocked me! Ladies, don't be afraid of changes in your hair (my unsolicited suggestion). But those who would rather color it, I support you.

I paid to have my entire apartment emptied after almost 24 years at age 79, and I moved to Queretaro. for a safer and less expensive city in Mexico. I do not carry a purse or cash, for I stay home. I do have 6 months food and rent money. The money is to pay my rent, when debit card is down. I moved at 79 to a less expensive and safer country, where there is plenty food etc. I use online shopping for groceries etc. for home delivery.

I just discovered your beautiful and inspiring videos. What I love the most about your message is you making it clear that there is not one way of doing things. I am not a minimalist myself but I dislike clutter and like a clean and serene house. Having read about minimalism out of curiosity I have found that it often becomes a kind of fanatic religion and almost an obsession. To me the way to follow is the middle way which differs for everyone. Living in Israel in a city in the middle of the desert, I feel like jumping into your gorgeous snow landscapes and rolling myself in the snow😂. Thank you so much. I wish you the best of health.

I'm catching up on your videos as I'm a fairly recent subscriber (from Aotearoa/New Zealand) I enjoyed this session. I never think of you as a slow speaker. Rather you communicate with calm. Many 'presenters' speak in a hyped manner, which tires me out, so I never persist with those. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom with us.

Thanks for the great videos you made. I play your video in the background on weekends when I am doing decluttering of my physical things and my brain clutter. Your voice is soothing and makes me feel so calm… thanks Connie!

Thank you Connie, for sharing so much about you. It actually helps to hear how different people cope with the social pressures, and busyness of life. Your calm, kind demeanour resonates with me, but I worry I am a long way from getting there. As I hear you talk in your videos about working toward goals, it makes me think that I need to sit down and set some concrete goals. Thanks for the “nudge”. I am watching this video after watching your video about leaving the US. I hope things are going well. I will follow along. Take care.

Hello Connie. This came at a most opportune time when intuitively felt I have to streamline my buying mode. I saw your topic on minimalism and I thought this could be the answer to my nagging question of how could I simplify my life not only to curve on my expenses but also to gain that discipline and self-worth. Thank you! You've really done me a great favor and good luck! with your vision.
