@@anonymous134y But his 65 relative to era was insane. Pretty sure it's considered a top 3 goalscoring season ever if adjusted for era but not sure how valid that stat is. Now we've had three 60+ goalscorers in the last 2 seasons. Bedard has one of the deadliest releases in the league at 18 and scoring is up. I think he has a very good chance of getting to 70+ one day 👌

Most Gretzky like player seen. Isn't the fastest yet seems to find himself enough a head of defenseman to get clean chances. Doesn't seem to have a crazy shot, yet snipes everything. If only he had credible 1st line linemates. Then you’d really see him shine. It makes me kind of angry that Davidson put him in this position, to not just carry his line offensively, but to carry the whole damn team. We’ve seen him score the first goal of the game several times, just for the opposition to focus on locking him down, and shut the Hawks out the rest of the game.

Kurashev is actually decent. Just a lot of rotating
@Whitsoxrule14 ай бұрын
Kurashev has been solid in that role. Given that most teams would be able to muster a better to player to be a skilled linemate for the young superstar, Kurashev has still handled it more or less. In this reel are plenty of examples of Kurashev making the right pass when Bedard finds open ice and of Kurashev being ready for Bedard's great vision and converts the passes into the net. He's not a star but he is not a problem

I've said for a long time that Elias Pettersson will change NHL by paving the way for these kinds of players. You can see a shift in what coaches are recruiting and building and what the audience is excited about. Game sense, skating, puck handling, shooting...this kid has it all. He is not quite up there with Elias, but he is several years younger than Elias was when he came to NHL so this is very exciting. Hockey is evolving, even though some will be angry about it and call for more physically tough players that aren't afraid to throw down the gloves and go at it, because 'that's what hockey is about'.

Elias Pettersson is not the person paving the way for these kinds of players at all. Kids will look at McDavid or Jack Hughes before Pettersson ever gets mentioned
