Connor didn't set himself up this time, that guy did. He said "Danny couldn't come because she's in Virginia" and didn't give excuses such as "she's ill" or something like that.

Ok, obviously we know Connor isn't an asshole and obviously wouldn't have made that joke if he knew beforehand, but why are we acting as if it's not natural to expect Connor to just do what he normally does and give a nice message off bat? Connor's not a bad person, but he rolled the dice on the joke and it landed poorly, don't blame the guy for trying to get a cool video for a friend.

@@MTAKIM-xy9jd I'm sorry, he didn't make Connor look horrible, Connor played the bit of the asshole and got burned because he rolled the dice and it landed poorly for him. If the guy didn't say anything, he'd been left with a joke video with Connor shitting on friend, who may very well not take it well considering he said they're neurodeficient. Could dude have chosen to say it that would've given Connor a way out? Sure, but that would not have been the easiest task, and it certainly isn't his responsibility to make sure Connor doesn't look bad when Connor decided to roll the dice and play the asshole for a stranger. If we're talking about wrong actions, then Connor is most certainly "in the wrong" here. As another analogy, let's go back to the Geiger Counter incident. Connor unknowingly made a joke in poor taste and got burned for it. Is it Mouse's fault that she didn't hand Connor a way out on a silver platter? And in that scenario, Connor's joke was far less directed at Mouse and he wasn't straight up playing the asshole.

Neuro deficient isn't a thing, he may have mispoke and meant neuro deficit which is someone who's disabled due to something being irregular about their nervous system and can have a wide degree of issues from inability to speak, jolting motions in your limbs, inability to feel pain in certain areas etc. There is neurotypicality and neurodivergence and if he meant either of those two it would've been the second one, because neurodivergence indicates "different" mental and emotional processing. Nothing bad about it, but Neuro-divergent folks frequently have executive dysfunction issues that prevent a number of things.

*sigh* Neuro-deficient is not a real term used in medicine/psychology. The dude mislabeled it and made it sound way worse than what it possibly could've been. I have a friend I know who I actually work with, who works remote because his lower body motor functions are poor because of a diagnosed neurologic deficit. And he most likely meant neuro-deficit, which can greatly vary in its symptoms. I think a lot of people hear "neuro" and assume it always has to do with behavioral/developmental issues. So I think since he related it to Mouse, who does have a neuro-deficit which is why she has to chill at home all the time.

It's not a thing, he probably meant neurological deficit, as the symptoms and conditions of that could very well have interfered with them being unable to attend. He didn't say any specific symptoms, so it makes it sound really bad, especially when he uses a term that sounds bad but officially means nothing. Basically saying you have a neurological deficit doesn't mean you're like, mentally challenged or anything, but I think people hear that and automatically think that, which is probably why Connor's asshole schtick which was literally just sarcasm and if you're a regular viewer of his, you'll know he does that stuff. So, eh, I dunno.
