It's funny, after Georgia won Kirby's second championship, all anyone wanted to talk about was how they went to Missouri and had to pull out a 4th quarter win. Texas DID get lucky and got Bama before Milroe found his groove, then later went to Kansas State and needed OT to win 33-30, escaped Dallas with a 29-26 win over a massively depleted TCU, led then Iowa State 15-9 going into the 4th quarter (ultimately winning 26-16) and NOBODY brings up those games as a reason for skepticism - only that they are probably going 12-0 in the regular season. That is the the perfect demonstration of the difference in treatment afforded a media darling like Texas that even a program coming off two consecutive titles could not get.

Funny how he says the reason his expectations of Texas are so high is because they went to Alabama and beat them, but they fail to mention that OU beat Texas, lol. They also fail to mention that OU dominated the Big 12, winning it 14 times to only 4 for Texas. Oh well.

Dude, no way in hell Texass and Georgia play 3 times. Texas has lost 8 of the last 10 and 11 of the last 15 to OU. Not likely that they just all the sudden start being this dominant team. They didn’t dominate the big 12. That was without question, a domination by OU. It’s really not even close. OU’s recruiting is extremely close to equally Texas and does some years. Difference is that OU develops talent at a much higher pace than they do. Fact check it
