Well, he was the one who instigated the witch due to having his flashlight on; she wasn’t shot, so Ellis who was closest got targeted

@@82much2na well it was actually a walking witch who won't get affected by flashlights because they are covering their face because it's day time, and to the game, this witch version has no flashlight aggravation. Ellis only aggravated because he was right next to her.

@@sm173r6 I looked at the wiki page and it says that wandering witches are “less prone” to flashlights. This wording does make it sound as though flashlights still do have an effect. Though I haven’t done any testing myself so you’re probably right

@@82much2na I believe the only instance where a wandering witch is still effected is in hard rain due to the darker nature, so I believe that why it says that.

this game is just too good to be forgotten, the mods are the one that keeps this game alive, custom campaigns and if you want challenge, join the custom servers.

Corners and doorways are your friend in this game, peaking around corners for special infected really helps survival on harder difficulties, you can stand in doorway and a jockey can't jump on your head, you can run in a big circle when a hunter tries to get you that way the AI misses your character and you can shoot it whilst moving, smokers and boomers need to be killed from cover and some distance so they can't lock on to you and you can side strafe chargers whilst they are running at you then kill them. tanks just keep your distance and dont stop shooting. I played this game alot in high school, good times.

If you guys ever decide to play this again, def try it with a group of four, if it’s with Joey and Garnt or with Aethel and Nyanners. Having all player controlled characters helps immensely. Plus it’s several times funnier with more people reacting to the mods 😂

Yee I'd love to see more Left 4 Dead gameplay. As some other people in the comments have said, it'd be even more amazing if you had a full team. Just thinking of 4 players (or even 8 if you played Versus owo) would make for some amazing banter, and a very fun VoD if I ever got around to checking it out lol.

The l4d 8 player gamemode is awesome. 4 players get to be special infected while the other 4 try to beat the level. It switches the teams and whichever survivor group gets further wins. It's amazing and underrated and I'd love to see you play it with some buddies
