@@reverb4311 Tect like that is just his persona, and most of the time is not that annoying but the good highlight is when he is being annoying. Tect, Connor and Joey know each other pretty well, if you watch their videos/stream when they mention each other about something or play games together you will knew that they are good friends.

i don't like square much these days, but they have to be somewhat better than jagex. i'd rather them play FFXIV, a game that at least seems to work casually, than a game with an identity crisis and skynet invasion.

I advise you not to get into it the security is trash and you could grind for ever just to get your account hacked and they don’t care and you have to prove it was hacked when you legit have no access to the data on their end.

When Garnt plays runescape he struggles to make a fire on a first game, loses direction everytime (Zoro), forgor level cap 35, goes back to main bank cambridge 10 gold for toll gate, misclicks ladder 3 times to get on a ship include joey, he plays it a couple of hours without realizing theres a world map in runescape (as it should) and dies pvp clan wars without eating food.

That stream was genuinely the highlight of my week. When they announced they'd do a sponsored stream I was so hyped and I sat up watching the entire stream from 1am untill around 7am my time, greatly enjoying it. I was hoping it'd lead to a "Connor Dawg" video, and I'm so happy I did, the edits are great! I hope at least some of them plays OSRS again, especially if it leads to a great video like this! (Or just a stream, I'll gladly watch more of the "Trash Weebs" playing OSRS in any format)

I've been playing OSRS for like 5 years now, and I'm in the subreddit and all that, and what little reaction I saw about these streamers playing it wasn't good because the gatekeeping in the OSRS community is off the charts. It was people complaining about things like, "They did nothing even slightly efficiently at all!" or "Yeah, they'll play it once and then never play again." It's definitely the kind of no-life neckneards you'd fully expect to play an mmo like this XD I liked watching it though! I always love to see 2 of my interests coming together like this =)

lol i casually play an ironman and i see the gatekeeping all the time like im not trying to mess around with tick manipulations and stuff for maximum exp let me afk stuff in peace lmao. The game is literally 20 years old and there is no reason to mix max. Much more relaxing to just chill and go at your own pace

@@rustypwn imo, it's a strike against the polling system. The community driven aspect of the game makes them feel even more entitled to spewing verbal sewage at the devs and other players more than they normally would.

the game is suffering from dev miscommunication and them being out-of-touch. also botting issues are still pretty bad, if not even worse. if you do play, just for F2P for healthy doses of nostalgia. P2P is a soul sucking abyss.

@@HeliosEffect you're paying $12 usd monthly to deal with a botting plague that interrupts important aspects of the game and also to deal with a company that is now-and-then frustrating at the worst possible moments or time which affects the player-base negatively. i've seen and heard about other subscription/live-service games that do better at around the same price or at better value.

There was entire plotline, climax, and tournament arc all built into this one 24 minute video. Better than any anime I have ever watched.
