To be clear, Conor is not exactly the first fighter to trash talk and not be short on bravado. Muhammad Ali was the original public trash talker…and, IMO the best. There’ll be another at some point or another…for anyone that has ever spent time in a men’s locker room, juvenile behavior is not exactly uncommon among young men who are in excellent shape…and having been handed a gigantic pile of money for beating up other fighters only builds up that old male ego. Frankly, it can be a recipe for disaster for a lot of personality types.

I feel like part of conors insane confidence has to do with the insane amount of support he gets from Ireland. Probably even at a really young age he was built up to be great and he just excelled with that support and it just kept growing and growing every time he won
