You could tell he really meant it when he said "forget about the 12 rounds" obviously he kept rethinking and analysing what he should've done against Floyd and honestly this is good advice. Why should Francis try to "box" Tyson Fury, he'll be playing right into Tysons hands!
@mrfatuchi
@mrfatuchi 7 ай бұрын
He probably realized he shouldnt have pretended to be a boxer and should have just went after him for few rounds if he lands he lands nothing to lose. Francis seem to be making the same mistake as Conor, going in there with boxing training trying to be something he is not.

I think it's brilliant advice. But I have the feeling Francis is going to try to pace himself. He'll be too worried that if he goes all in too early and it doesn't pay off, he'll gas out. And it's true, he will. He's carrying too much muscle. But the slow game certainly favors Fury. So Francis really should just roll the dice and go all in for the first 3 rounds. He could catch him and shock the world.

Mike Tyson and Ali style were already very différent as well and that is just heavyweight .. Nowadays, Martin Bakole 🇨🇩 is very different from Anthony Joshua etc .. Boxing is not only one style but a plethora of them, it always have been this way. But i have never been à fan of heavyweight Boxing, for me it always have been From middleweight and below.

Conor is absolutely right here. Francis Ngannou weighed in at 272lbs and with all that muscle mass, he will eventually gas out so the first 2 rounds will be very crucial. This is Tyson Fury's world and Francis should make it a street fight early on and go all out. I remember the Mayweather vs McGregor fight, Conor actually won the 1st 3 rounds. Obviously Floyd took him out towards the end but Conor was winning very early.

Looking back this might be the greatest advice, you can't go to decision with a boxer, even if you win, you lose. So better go for the knockout

I actually somewhat agree with Conor here. Francis might get tired later sure but its a gamble that I think favors him, imagine Fury knocked out. Also, Fury is good but not as defensive nor tactical as Floyd so I see this tactic working against Fury.

Prefer boxing but got to give the MMA fighters credit for stepping in the ring...I think it's only fair if a boxer chooses to fight a MMA fighter then a 2 fight deal should be done one in the ring and one in the octagon
