Nate Diaz deserves more credit for taking the most risk. Because the lack of time Diaz wasn’t prepared for the fight. Connor had a full training camp that was a big advantage for him. A unfair advantage that Dana rarely acknowledged because he thought Nate had very little chance of winning.

So going by his comments at the weigh in :"Weight should never be an issue". His post fight comments other than he "ran out of energy" was about weight. Look Diaz has spent his life fighting whether organized or on the street. He has a high fight IQ and it showed. He knew of his conditioning and how he would have to start slow and his lack of sparring. The kid can come across as a punk and this and that, but he has balls and showed some great composure. When they were on the scale you could see how calm Diaz was versus how nerved up Conor was.
