Hi,
This video trail guide takes you on one of the most extreme and challenging hikes in the Superstition Mountains-The Flatiron.
Watch as we hike the Siphon Draw Trail from Lost Dutchman State Park, near Apache Junction, Arizona, through the desert valley, ascending steep canyons and climbing up and over fields of boulders to reach the summit of The Flatiron. There, you’ll see spectacular panoramic views of nearby mountains and desert landscapes.
Things to Know - The Flatiron
Location: 40 east of Phoenix, Arizona, near Apache Junction
Trail: Siphon Draw
Trail Hours: 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Fees: $10 Day use fee - Lost Dutchman State Park
Distance: 6.2 miles (round trip)
Difficulty: Extremely Difficult
Elevation Gain: ~3,133 ft
Time: 1 hour 50 minutes each way

You sent me here from your Weavers Needle video. This one is equally well done! If you ever get a chance to do this hike again try and do so after a rainstorm, the waterfall are just awesome ! Or instead try Waterfall canyon, next canyon over to the east. Thanks for sharing your trip! Happy Hiking!
