I love this unit it's a staple for my warband, they evolve so much trough the veterancy/honor tree/doctrine, started from the bottom now they are at the top!

Have you tried Demense Crossbowmen? They are hero destroyers, especially against medium and light armored heros. By far the most accurate and fastest firing T2 unit.

Interesting, its nice to see this unit detailed in an up to date video! I figured top line had the better stat boosts, but I went bot for the skin change and and 15% dmg increase, was also curious about the 80 block break. Well, the block does have some effect, in training mode they sometimes stun shield enemies, wish I could control the enemies and have them use a line block formation so I could better try it. However, their accuracy is really bad! more than I expected even. And in this video I can see it doesn't get much better at the top line, often hitting the ground or aiming at the sky despite the slow aiming. Even the stun they can cause might not be that good of a support because of terrible accuracy. Crossbow and Archer units have much better acc, and archers have superior fire rate. However the superior damage and armor pen of Arquebusiers are also significant advantages that might be useful at VERY close range and dense enemy. I've been thinking of changing to top line, so that they hit a bit more, at all. But also been holding back because its not a unit I use often and because the Devs intend to buff some units, like they did with Palace Guards, perhaps this unit could also benefit. Hopefully, haha!

They are my most favored green unit so far. I use them more than pike militia. Well, I found the best way to use it as mid, and closed - range were to use them as shotgun. By using F2 formation with X V within 1 sec, so they can all shoot at the same time and FASTER without RELOAD animation. But you have to micro them a little bit while using this trick to maximize the efficiency. Other wise, find some good spot like a choke point and leave them there. My question is: should I put fire rate and accuracy docs on them?
