Hey Jacob! Your battle reports are the best I’ve seen on KZfaq - you do a great job of narrating the action, moving the video along where necessary, and then showing more detail for the big, important moments. A couple minor suggestions from my film production education: the lighting on the intro and outdo scenes where you and your opponent are introducing the video or debriefing are perhaps a bit dark. Some additional fill lighting would be nice (though I can see some people liking the dark “in a dungeon in Moria” aesthetic). Since you had a “dark side” of the board this time, another suggestion for you: get a very bright fill light and turn it on the ceiling. It will bounce evenly off the ceiling a provide a good, even fill light. Then add key lights from the front if you want to brighten the areas where the action is taking place. Make sure your keys aren’t so much brighter than your fill that the fill exposes as super dark. All of this is just in the spirit of being helpful, so hopefully I haven’t given offense. I love your videos and would keep watching even if you changed nothing.

"I'm going to bat for you Elrond." "I got your back Elrond." P.S. Ackshually Erestor is his top guy. He's such a beast (for his points/tier). P.P.S. Luv lore/theme appropriate battles like this one as opposed to stuff like Hobbits with Tom Bombadil wreaking havoc on Minas Tirith. "Alternate History" can be entertaining but some matchups can get just too silly to enjoy playing/watching (I dislike MESBG tourneys with unrestricted matchups because of this). P.P.P.S. Those blue gemstones on the High Elven shields look great! P.P.P.P.S. That was a great game! You're quite good at explaining/commenting on the flow of the game and I appreciate your camera work & editing skillz.

Good batrep. The lucky elf burning Fate off the Witch King was epic. Reminds me of the time when my rohan royal guard took out the witch king with a throwing spear. Battles of Erebor is a good choice. You have amazing terrain for that and the scenarios seem interesting.

I really enjoy your battle reps. My one bit of constructive feedback is to add a graphic banner to the side of the video showing each army and how many models and points they have. That way the viewer can know how many units both sides start with and whose winning the attrition battle. Have seen it used on some other battle rep channels and i think it would make your videos that much better

15:39 With having lost priority and the Elves already finishing their move, I would have LOVED to see Alex charge the Witch King into the Troll Chieftain’s combat. A Heroic Combat would have really opened things up for a Charge on the Elrond and/or Banner.

On 5.22 u said that u dont want to resist the black dart, which was casted on ur horse, but u cannont resist black dasrts/fireballs casted on ur mt's. U can do this only with shadowfax or when u have f.spirit casted upon u ;)

Elrond couldnt have resisted the black dart anyways in the beginning as it targeted the horse. Just curious why it was presented as a deliberate choice. Really nice bat rep as usual though!

Suggestion for the channel: I think the lightning is to dark. The intro and when you talk about new things and stuff but also the battle report. Pls bring some natural light again 🌞
