@@maxwilliams6199 We shall never know. We can still least say he genuinely seemed to care once. Not finding a way to heal her was why he lost faith in the Golden Order. Was she charmed? Who knows. Was he still planning to heal her or did he give up and saw her as another sacrifice at some point? Who knows. He certainly didn’t love her towards the end, since he cast away his capacity to feel love.

Let's consider his is already kinda tricky for first run players, and really aggressive, so giving him hard buffs would be hard for his fight, but I do agree in that they do really dirty on him just because of that, even other bosses have better buffs.

Git gud is the answer. Melania's attack pattern is not difficult to learn. She straifes right, straifts left, has a straight forward attack, and a quick forward combination attack. Those 4 can be learned pretty well and parrying her becomes easy. easy for everyone.

That's one thing about the dlc. You never really have room the breath on alot of the bosses. The damage and aggression is amped up so high compared to the base game bosses they just don't have a chance.

It baffles me when people say Malenia was easier or, god forbid, Orphan of Kos... while yes, at the time they probably found them harder and took longer to beat, but they're going into this DLC with all that knowledge and training. Malenia had that bs waterfowl dance and lifesteal, plus her attacks hit like a truck... but she had a lot of downtime and rarely strung together comboes as much and as well as Rellana or Radahn. You still had time to breath and wait before downing a flask. In the DLC, there's little room for error.

Dude, Radahn was always on the hunt to be a perfect warrior like Godfrey, is normal they adapted the sizes. And is Malenia, name her right, or rot.

That said, its kind of weird how malenia needs +7 values to match NG radahn, and that its not even close to a fair fight without the rot, because thats supposed to be a stalemate/draw in terms of lore power

OK, this is false. It does not work like that. Some bosses like Starscourge Radahn have their health almost doubled. Damage on some bosses like Malenia and Mohg is greatly increased, but on others like Maliketh and Placidusax, it barely increases. It's not a consistent ~30% scaling at all.

People have always wanted to fight bosses in their prime and we finally got that or at least something very similar

This boss have almost nothing new: his design is just radahn, but smaller and with legs, most of his combo's is just starscouge radahn's combos, but with ground eruptions and pillars of light, the move with five meteors is just a malenia's clone attack and he also has a literal air clone attack in his second phase not to he also has a famous starscouge meteor, some of his combo's end with mohg's blood slices, the stomp's is just a stomp from phase one Godfrey and even the fucking design with miquella on his back is just Godfrey and serosh again, literally the only new moves that they have is:miquella's pillars of light, light speed dashes and a miquella's grab attack when he literally steals your heart which is actually cool and if you can't handle my opinion on your favorite boss then you're a true doorknob in here
