Thanks for sharing your experience. I just ordered one for my 1290 SDR 2021. Mostly rdered it to be able to clean the chain properly and o move it around in my garage. :-)

Useful video! The video I am looking forward is when, after braking it in, you put it on the Dyno, as I suspect that it makes more power on the top end than advertised, because when magazines put it on the Dyno comparing it to others, they give the Speed a handicap by not showing the last 1000rpm on the Dyno. There is a magazine that put it on the Dyno (and the Speed made power until 11300 rpm , 169hp), but it not compare it to other bikes. It would be interesting if you would put it on some independent Dyno and compare it, for instance to the 2021 Streetfighter v4 (Euro 5), as I suspect that it makes comparable power on the top end, maybe only 5hp less than the Streetfighter

Usually power figures on the spec sheet are given from the crank, not the rear- wheel. Meaning 180hp figure will more likely be around 165. However with a tune and a new exhaust I can see this bike reaching the 180ps figure quite easily. Let's see! And welcome along

@@sergeantsodom6969 Historically, Ducati has been more on the optimistic side where it comes to claimed hp numbers and Triumph on the pessimistic side. For instance the Street Triple 765 makes more or less the same power on the wheel as claimed (on some Dynos more, look it up if you don't believe me). So, The Speed Triple 1200rs using the same Moto2 technology on a more expensive bike having 50 percent more capacity,... well do the math. Plus, if it didn't have to show any more hp why they didn't rev it out on the Dyno as with the rest of the bikes on the comparison, is not this unfair? Plus, Triumphs tend to be peaky bikes!

Entertaining assembly video ... nowt like a bit of swearing to help things along 🙊... only downside with all these types of stands is they have limited use, but a handy bit of kit, if it'll fit ya bike, it won't fit all bikes, purely down to the bikes design.

That's it, thankfully a lot of bikes are covered with the plates they make but it is a faff to get out and use sometimes

MOTEA center stands show "without adapter" Little confused on how see if its compatible with my 2023 ducati full throttle

They sell the lifts without the faceplate. You'll have to get the one that includes the faceplate for your bike, if they do them 👍

What size bolts did you use for the plate,I have been in touch with company but absolutely nothing back,def a design fault especially if they are sending these out with wrong fixing bolts that were in pack 6,pity as it’s quality made gear

@@512460 from the company I emailed them in regards to pack 6 having the wrong bolts.sent picture and tbf they sent out a new pack I did ask what size and I would buy my own but they insisted on mailing more out.its a quality item just a pity they seem to be sending out wrong bolts

Got the same,had a mare with instructions and yes those two last bolts that were in pack 6 are too bloody long I have emailed company and awaiting a reply😡😡
