Most favorite of mine so far: www.instructables.com/id/Circuits-for-using-High-Power-LED-s/ 4 components, with zener can PWM'ed with microcontroller and can handle up to 60V, lots of LEDs. Covers near 100% of 100-300mA LEDs usage for "homegamer". Can be used for 20mA as well if needed, with less powerful mosfet. Also I played a bit with ideas from Kevin Darra's videos lately and I like solution with voltage reference, works like a charm, cost less and good for driving 350mA LEDs.
