Not going to lie haven't seen it in forever but I remember this film inspired me to make my own paper RPG supernatural game in middle school. This brings back memories of playing Hunter the Reckoning on the GameCube XD

The movie suffered a huge backlash from Hellblazer fans who didn't like this version at all. In fact "Constantine" TV series is much more comic book accurate.

Those ****s want a DC/MARVEL version sequel. Keanu reeves didn't want any part of that. To be like avenger dr. Strange so he never got on board. Once they realized the comic version was trash because the tv series tanked, they were willing to redo this version but time passed and the Hollywood interest in another movie waned.

The fact they didn’t just rush and kill him when he walked in. They all stopped and payed attention to him. It showed they all understood how dangerous he was to them.

They cant even if they wanted to the time allotted to them is up its like driving around in bumper cars at a carnival. Once the ride comes to an end the cars come to a stop and those who are on the rides must exit the vehicles and the man who shut the bumper cars off comes to the scene unbuckling seat belts and telling everyone its time to leave. Hes the one coming to tell them the parties over its time to leave your hosts or vehicles and go back to hell.

I like that it takes into account the unpurified water already in the lines. Common movie mistake would have been immediate burning.

She played Ellie. I didn't know until I saw the deleted scenes. I thought Ellie didnt feature in the film at all, which was a shame considering her protagonism in the books. Well... she ends up not featuring in the films any way because all of her scenes (much more than one) were deleted before the final cut.

It's a shame they cut out all the scenes with the demon girlfriend, 'cuz that really seems like the sort of thing John Constantine would do. It's definitely an aspect of the character that Matt Ryan captured better than Reeves did.

ellie is the only one (demons) that he shows mercy to and doesn't kill. he lets her walk away. this would be intersting if ever they did a sequel, especially as his side-kick is now an angel

Apparently the comics actually acknowledge him as an alternate Constantine (a different one). I like that they do that. If you treat this as stand alone from the comics it’s a brilliant movie (if you like this sort of thing which I do).

Polish Filipino well at this movie. Adding a blessed crucifix to any water source turns it to holy water... holy water purification at its finest hehe.
