It's so easy to think of Jack as a snarky, comical guy all the time but he really is tactful and nuanced. He was respectful and fair in his criticism and called out Fousey for being the douche that he is. I wish he would've kept this uploaded, but I understand why he didn't...all the best to ya, Jack. For all you new people (all you 100k lmao tnx for that) that came from the recommended section on youtube. I'm here to answer some of your questions. 1.Why is this in my recommend and when did this happen? (for those who dont know) - Well it happened back in July when Fousey was getting hate by major youtubers from the commentary community on yt and he showed his true colors (that he's a douche) by his comments on Twitter like the ones Jack read. About the recommended thing idk yt is weird man. 2. Why did Jack delete the video? - Immediately after uploading the video Jack started tweeting how Erin thought he shouldn't get into drama and he should just let it go (can't hold it back anymore amirite?). Well Jack uploaded it and he deleted it in 15 minutes or less. 3. Why did you reupload it you piece of shit? - Well I knew Jack was going to delete it after Erin tweeted at him that he should. And he did it. I reuploaded because this is Jacksfilms gold and a rare jacksfilms gem. Think about it: When was the last time you've seen Jack this serious? Never. Also I did it for the views (jk i dont make money of of his videos). A day didn't go by and I saw that Erin (her real yt acc) commented I should delete the vid since it was removed for a reason. So i put it on private and after a couple of months (when the whole drama died) i published it again just because, and it had maybe around 10k views till yesterday or the day before when it got into a lot of Jack fans recommended box on yt. Yeah, so idk if someone will read this lol bye.

A metaphor is something that compares two unrelated things with an element that's shared. A metaphor is not claiming that X is equal to Y in terms of magnitude, simply that they have something in common. You can find similarities between any two pair of things, that includes youtube douchebags and great historical figures. In his tweet, fousey was essentially using ghandi, macolm x, etc. as an example of how people who were hated by many in their time but made a positive impact. Fousey didn't claim that he was as great as them, but he pointed out that, similar to them, he is also widely hated and working towards making a positive impact. Now I don't like fousey or believe what he's saying is accurate, but people like you and jack are failing to understand figurative language and attacking him for your own failure to comprehend. Stop misrepresenting his argument and instead criticize the validity of his claim.

Fousey was asked how it felt to be so hated and he responded by saying Ghandi, MLK, etc. He’s not “making an example” or whatever bs you said, he’s clearly saying he felt like they did, which is way out of line and incredibly pompous. You don’t need research various definitions of figurative language, you just need basic comprehension skills. You misunderstand that he’s not giving an example of people in similar places to him, he’s saying he (a prank KZfaqr) feels the same as these important figures, directly comparing him and them.

If you read his second tweet where he clarifies he says, "I was inferring (bad word choice but you can still understand) that they were hated by MILLIONS yet still made an impact". He was saying how many people hated these great figures in their time yet they still stood up for what was right. He never claimed he was as good as they were or whatever bs you said, but he felt similar to them since he was also getting attacked for standing up for what he thought was right. He never claimed to be on the same level as them. You just need simple comprehension skills to see his point. Now the validity of what he was saying is up to debate, but people like you and jack need to stop misrepresenting his argument

He could have just said "it sucks, man" or used his own words rather than compare himself to people who risked their lives for what they believed in. He did not need to bring them into what was now seen as KZfaq drama. We arent going to look back at the actions of the people me mentioned as "drama". Yet we are looking at it with Fousey

I was wondering why this video was deleted and then I got to the end and it really clicked, I was worried he maybe said something a little too far but I’m glad it was just in an effort to not start a fire. This is such an amazingly well crafted, genuine, thoughtful piece of advice to another creator and it sucks that he likely had to keep it down because it would’ve caused harassment otherwise. Jack is one of a shrinking number of people who you can say genuinely wants to make KZfaq a better place

Because Fousey has probably one of the biggest egos of any YT'er on this site, though people hate him as well, Leafyishere did a video just showing how much of a self absorbed prick he is. He thinks he's like an icon of KZfaq and everyone else are peasants. Cause how self absorbed do you need to be in order to compare yourself to people to had much more of an influence on the world then he ever would (though as far as people hating him, he might succeed in that regard).
