I think these work good. However I had one strap fray and break rendering it useless. Perhaps a stronger material is needed. Also the length of the straps somewhat determines what you can lift. An adjustable strap would be nice.

Consumer Reports would never film a infomercial like this.

Their most recent commercial was racist to me, observe the sparkel they put in mr.smiths teeth of the fully caucasian family, they made sure to put in most races, blacks, Asians, whites, and Mexicans, they dressed the Mexicans In clothes you would see on immigrants, then they showed the Asians lifting a sumo wrestler on top of an appliance.
