Gosh darn it. I don’t like Harvick but I had to like this video after he sat his boy inside his race car to roll to victory lane with him in no seat. Love it. Old School.

this is the best race that # 4 car has had all year .he passed five solid cars to win that race Elliott, Hamlin, blaney, koslowski and logano in the last 25 laps impressive

Burnout are not important to old school NASCAR fans. Earnhardt,Jarrett, Elliott, Waltrip never did burnouts but they sure put on a show during the race.

the flag person was still waving the green checkered flag as the multi-car crash was happening a couple of hundred yards up the track right in front of them, that's just what i saw

I like the stage points system with one exception, there should be no yellow flag to end stages.Driver should be awarded for running up front but a reset makes teams consider stage points over a possible win and then gas mileage comes into play. I am not in favor of resets just to put on a show for the fans. Gas mileage came into play for all of Team Penske and also put the Gibbs teams out of contention for the win. Anytime a Ford wins is a good day for Ford fans.

It’s sad to see what has happened to NASCAR over the past decade or so. The crowds are about half the size they used to be. I remember MIS putting in new seating every year to handle the crowds that were yearning for tickets. Now all you see are empty seats. Sad to see such a great sport losing popularity with Americans

I saw packed stands when they went by with the camera. And Watkins Glen sold out.

msblanc ....Not sure about Watkins Glenn, but tracks like MIS and others have lost a lot of fans. When I would go to MIS in the late 80’s and 90’s they were building new bleachers every year to handle the crowds. Now all those bleachers have been torn down because no one is buying tickets. You had to beg for a seat at Bristol back then, there wasn’t an empty seat in the entire track, now you see empty seats even down the straightaway. It’s sad, I loved that sport, couldn’t wait till next weeks race. I blame all the rule changes by the Francis family, the car of tomorrow is a joke, everybody’s running around the track in the same car. It’s a crime to me to take a sport like that and ruin it in just a decade.

honestly, despite all the hate, you can't really go wrong in not loving the father/son moments the sons and daughters of the nascar racers might be the keys in carrying Nascar for years to come

Another fuel mileage race, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I thought racing was setting your car up to go fast to beat the other guys, not lifting and shutting engine off on cautions, snooze festival. At least a Ford won.

@@CharlieSnipp I am not saying they don't. I pointing out that Nascar fans say "our sport is so much better watch, look we have 12 minute highlights compared to your 6 or 7" but half the highlight video is not even the race. They put in so much filler to lengthen the video to try and make it seem like an amazing race when in reality, it is almost as boring as F1. Notice I said Almost. F1 can be a snooze most of the time.
