Recently contacted Michelin on recommended tyre pressure for a set power cup evo, on my s1000rr, they suggested 36/42 !

I only run a higher pressure 34/40 for a longer straight line road trip. I run bridgestone rs10's on my 2014 zx10r.

i have a new but left over 2022 triumph scrambler XC…..the ride is always bumpy. new paved roads are bumpy. old paved roads are bumpy. the ride is always bumpy. my bike is a 2022, which i bought this week in june of 2023. considering it’s a left over i’m thinking it has been sitting in the showroom for a long time and one or both tires have a flat spot. as that flat spot hits the ground on every revolution, it will feel bumpy. i could be wrong but that’s the only thing i can come up with. unless the suspension needs tuning. even if the suspension needs tuning the ride should be smooth of pavement, especially a newly paved road. this is why i think it’s flat spots on the tires. your thoughts ?

Dave: just curious, what would be your opinion for the best street only tire for a ZX14R ? Top 3 choices? (Brand/model) Mainly 2up riding... I'm 255lbs she's 104lbs

My rear tire looks exactly like bike 1. I just bumped up the air pressure to 40psi for street the other day. I had it at 36psi cold. Recommended was 42 cold but max pressure for my dunlops on the side wall are 42 and i felt that didn't sound right. Tire manufacture list online also says 42 cold but wouldn't that go outside the max pressure after it heats up? Figured i would try more psi to see if it still wears the same or does that have anything to do with it? Definitely going to subscribe to dmt so i can learn some of these things. Tires and suspension..uuggh lol

36 42 cold has been the same for 30 years. Time to find our own!! Sidewall max pressures are cold. You should gain 3-4 on a street ride when ambient is above 70F. Thanks for subscribing and start with pressures testing and fork and shock travel. Stay with these topics for 4weeks as these are the foundation for all other content to build on.

I run 32/38 bridgestone rs10. I add/subtract in the rear depending on if its a long 100 moles straight trip or a day of twisties ill take some out rear.

I only ride twisties unless on track, twisties i run 34f 29r cold

hy at 3:44 i have the same wear on my whells ... what is the problem ? suspension so hard or ?

If fork travel is not correct and you do not have enough, yes - suspension too hard.

i have the z900 se 2023 whit ohlins and from factory came whit ( springs prelod at 8-4/5 turn in , rebound at 6 clic out and from compresion rebound is 6 out , i have change whit , spring preload at 6 turn out . rebound to 7 click out and compresion rebound at 7 and now i have a good suspension trave it rest 15-20mm on the botom from the full travel , and for rear is from factori is 10 turn in for spring compresion and rebound is 18 clic out a bit softer for me ( 110gk whit al gear ) and new seting i make 15 turn for spring preload and rebount i dont tuched ... i have a litle sag (15-20 mm ) ,
