Contactless Payment: Metro Makes TAP Cards Available On Apple Devices

They did have that, but it was only for buses I believe You still had to pay for the train (subway) whatever they call it And I think special lines

Does this mean those of us that have physical tap cards won't be able to use them once boarding at the front of the bus resumes. Or does it mean those with rap cards will be able to use them but if we want to load the contactless card on our phone, we'll have that option. The actual tap cards aren't being phased out

go to the 'wallet' app. tap the + icon in the top right. you should see list of card options. towards the bottom should be the Tap card. Press that one then it will just ask you to add a certain balance and that will be all. hope I helped. if you need any more help let me know.

Ruben R. Samaniego Thank you. I was told about the reason why I am unable to do so which is because I am using IPhone 7. Needs IPhone 8 or latest. Thank you for the time on solving this issue.

It still works when your phone has no internet. Apple Pay works offline once the card is added to the wallet.

How very LA of you. As more people keep clogging up the roads you realize you need both to get around. I drive a Mercedes and still use metro from time to time.

A lot of multimillionaires ride the metro too you know. Stop by at 7th St, Civic Center, Union Station during rush hours and you'll find out
