Container Garden: Progress & Plans

Welcome back to my small typical British garden. Watch my progress as I attempt to create a kitchen garden using container-grown produce. I am completely new to gardening and learning as I go. Wanting to see how much I can grow in a small space with limited time. Bringing you along to show what is possible with very little knowledge and a can-do attitude.
This update gives a tour of the space, planting what is hopefully the last of this year's seedlings, talking over the plans for the messy side of the garden, general maintenance, and starting to paint the shed. Hope you enjoy and follow me on my journey.
Oh.. and the runner beans I planted were Scarlet Emperor and Enorma.

If you can lift your carrots higher you are less likely to lose them to carrot flies which can only fly up to 60cms high. A tip I learned the hard way is that your compost bin should be put in as sunny a spot as you can, not shade. It needs heat to get and stay activated and produce good compost fast.

Looking great, Lorna! If you are in no rush to move that tree stump, it would be great for loads of hanging baskets this year.

That is a genius idea! but I'm wanting to lift the strawberry tower off the ground sooner than later. I would've planted the strawberries in baskets and done this. It would've been much easier! If only I had the brains to think of it!
