Love those teak planters! Your centerpiece urn (that I also am in love with) looks so good. Great idea to showcase your containers while NOT planting them...! Can't grow a poppy to save my life. Waaahhhh.

Really nice container tour, Erin. I think you’re right. We really don’t need to see you plant each one. It was nice to see all of them in one video. Happy some of your bell vine survived the pests…and nice that someone sent you one. It was so beautiful last year. Love the nicotiana too. Green flowers are awesome. Everything’s looking good. 😊💕🦋🕊

Your containers are original, unique and beautiful. Thank you for stepping outside the box and showing us something different. We often only see the "cookie cutter" version of potting up a planter, but you offer us SO many more options and inspirations to explore; I like the divergence! :)

That is really a beautiful spot you have for your home! I love the misty, foggy look behind you while you were recording your video. It must be amazing to see storms passing across Lake Michigan from the west to the east.

Gaaaaahhhhh! Can we talk about your lacinato kale???!!! Beautiful. And all the containers are fantastic. I hand-water almost everything too - a great opportunity to stay informed about condition of plants, discover all the secret gems that hide, and it helps me relax. Great video, Erin!

I have 64 containers! Seems like all I do is water Indiana is soooo dry this year No rain at all for almost 5 weeks

I get that when you plant containers it seems monotonous, but I always like to see the selection and why you select it…yeah I can never get too much container planting!! Thank you for giving us this tour! You’re awesome! 👍

Really enjoyed this tour. My two favorite containers are the big square one with the banana in it and the two that flank your vegetable garden gate. The simplicity of those two is really refreshing. Thanks for sharing💕

Erin, your containers look gorgeous already after only 2-3 weeks of growth! I'm still busy planting and adding plants to several of my largest containers as I find them in clearance sales. I also have a ton of containers this year (ornamental and edible) and I’m loving them! I added lemon verbena to one and I can’t walk by without touching it…that smell…

Also love verbena too, it makes me think of Little House on the Prairie. I think Laura mentioned that flower in at least one of her books. Gotta love old flowers, esp. on the prairie.

Because your purple bell vine was so gorgeous last year, I tried sowing some myself this year. 4 out of the 6 cells germinated and looked great so they went in containers on the porch of my shed. 2 got beat to death in a hail storm. The 2 remaining ones are alive but seem to be happy just sitting rather than growing. BUT....I shall not be defeated! I’ll keep babying them along and keep my fingers crossed. 🥴

I started 6 seeds in February, after admiring Erin’s every time she showed it, but only 4 have made it to planting in baskets. They sat still f o r e v e r! But, in the last two weeks they’ve put on incredible amounts of growth and have started blooming! Next year I will definitely start more seeds as it’s not available in any garden centre near me. It’s gorgeous and worth the effort.

Ha! Funny you say that. I painted it in a whim this winter and I sort of hate it. If I had any ambition I think I’d repaint it right now, but it does work with some of the flowers.

Your containers are very lovely, Erin. That trough container really caught my eye - the divided house plant is a show stopper for sure. Yes, I enjoyed seeing all the containers! I think my favorite is the big urn in the Dahlia garden. Containers are so fun and even though I had a favorite combo last year, I just had to try something new this year! Also so glad you taught us the poppy trick. I shared my seeds last year and told them about throwing on the snow. Have had fun hearing from everyone how cool the poppies are! They are so pretty! Love the dark red one you have!

I love seeing ideas for containers. Here in KY the ground is such hard clay and rocks I find myself using containers more and more. The heat this year is oppressive, we almost heat 100 yesterday. Then if it gets cooler (in the 80's LOL), it rains so I find myself not getting out as much as I normally do. I love looking out my window at the containers and thinking what I can next put in one. Thanks for the video. I love your garden, it is so peaceful, I can see myself sitting enjoying my morning coffee there. Sometimes youtube gardens are so structured, for me, I don't care for that look, but your garden is just so pretty.

I loved your container tour! Thank you. I tossed some Giant Rattle Poppy seeds out in March and they are ready to bloom now. Easiest plant I've ever grown! They are tall and some are flopping over but can't wait to see the flowers. My husband saw me watching your video and said "Wow, I love her garden gate!".

A beautiful foggy morning. I am so tempted to recreate the birch planters. I chicken out every year when it comes to a tree in a planter. The nicotianas are gorgeous. Another must try.

Loved your tour! It has been a cooler than average summer in Upstate NY. My containers don't seem to mind but my perennials are super far behind. Even my veggies are stunted. Hoping for a heat wave. As I am sitting on my deck with a blanket this chilly morning lol

So many wonderful containers! My poppies are long gone. The heat and humidity have here for awhile now. It’s 8:30 pm and it’s 89 degrees but the heat index is 98. So jealous of you in a jacket! And mother of god, that kale looks amazing!
