I was born in Zwijndrecht but I came to western Canada when I was 4. I have run trucks for 30 years here. As we say over here we are brothers by other mothers. To see what's happening in my home land and say " Been there, done that, and got the tee shirt" meaning we are so alike. I'm starting tomorrow to film what it's like here. Leuke video Harry. Ik heb altijd aan vanaf de waterzijde gewerkt. Ook wel containers op zijn tijd. Al had ik een hekel aan de container stress. Ik zat liever in de tankertransporten met schepen.

Dat je dat niet kunt aflezen op dat scherm is al jarenlang bekend maar of ze het inmiddels hebben veranderd? ik had altijd problemen met dat apparaat, ook de handscanner was een probleem tot soms wel vijf keer je hand erin leggen en ja hoor eindelijk snapte het apparaat het, maar ik kwam er wel graag daar in de Waalhaven.

Leuk Harry kun je ook een keer filmen hoe je aan en af koppelt luchtvering omhoog omlaag.

Wat grappig. Bij 3:02 stop je naast een auto van Verbruggen (BG-bak links). Met één van die werknemers ben ik 10 jaar geleden veel mee geweest naar de terminals die jij bezoekt. Erg leuk om te zien! Wat voor camera gebruik je en hoe heb je die bevestigd op je dashboard? Ben ik wel benieuwd naar...

Al die gestapelde containers van ongeveer 6 hoog zijn lege containers van de klanten toch? Omdat ze ook allemaal bij elkaar staan van hetzelfde merk?

I made some similar videos showing the procedure in UK container terminals like Southampton, Felixstowe etc. The language may be different but its much the same kind of mess about here to lift on/off a container. Drviing is hard, but there it’s harder than I thaught 🏗..

Ook al is het Nederland, de infrastructuur in deze haven loopt volgens mij een beetje achter. Stenen liggen allemaal los, het hobbelt, de borden zijn vies, weinig verlichting, vieze douanepoorten, belijning van de weg is half weg, Of ligt het aan mij? haha
