This really made me reflect on what attracts your awareness? What do you enjoy ? When is art a kind of diagnoses of a special life? When is it a state of consciousness? What difference can a painting make on your experience of presence? How can a piece of Art open Windows into multidimensional experience ? What is life about? How does Contemporary art communicate of Life? 🎵💜🎶🦄

Linear has to a great degree informed over half a century of “contemporary art” I wonder when we will tier. The viewer gets a clearer understanding of us (precisely our intention). With AI on the horizon I expect that to stay. Still I miss the unconscious mark. That abandon no longer vogue. The archival reminding how liberated forays into the abyss; of thinking something for nothing and seeing nothing for something- betrayed us. Cerebral and rental are no longer independent, renegading-rouges. Rather now shackled together prim and proper, ready to inform as to any inquiry. To paraphrase someone with more political wit and moral fiber then I could ever muster, who am I to judge? You can quote this artist as saying, I love this stuff! Do it myself. Eventually it will show “everyone” how whacked we all are. and maybe…just maybe as Jiddu, Krishnamurti hoped- we change.

A wide range of artists, great camera work giving some detail looks. I doubt that there's many artists today working whose primary medium is pencil/graphite, any suggestions of whose work I should be looking at? As always a pleasure to view.

Thank you for tuning in, George. Yes, good question, there aren't so many indeed. I instantly think of the Columbian artist Johan Barrios with his surreal Borremansesque graphite drawings, but also the large scale abstracts by Denitsa Todorova. I would also like to suggest Jean Bedez and Jelena Bulajic.

Inspiring and wonderful curation. And, great music choice(s). I would urge you to credit the music. I apologize if you have I just don’t see it here.

Dear Tom, thank you for your most kind words. The music isn't credited as it was a copyright free track, without any specific title, composer or executor. Great jazzy tunes though, hats off to the unsung hero!

Apart from the highly inspiring works, what is the name of the saxophone player. His or her interpretation of jazz standards pleases me a lot.

Hi there, thank you for tuning in. I have no clue who the saxophone player is, as the track is simply a copyright free instrumental by an anonymous producer. Terrific jazzy tunes

@@contemporaryartissue Hello, thanks for your reply. On my laptop; whole KZfaq video image size 14 x 7.8 cm approx. Your labels: 2 x 1 cm approx; but real problem is text is completely blurry - coz me not watching in HD or why? Thank you for the films you make & upload, must takes ages & loads of work. Best to you.

@@jennyhughes4474 Strange, I believe there must be something wrong with the settings indeed. With 1080 HD, the captions seem very crisp and sharp on my laptop. Thank you for kind words, best wishes from Belgium!

I've watched both vids as potential introductory primer for my high school students, most of which are ethnically diverse and female. Notable gender/old white guy imbalance here. I'll use the vid but highlight the point that it is clearly still an issue. Great artists, but nevertheless.

Horrible Horrrible !!! When a painter produces a photo realistic piece, only the challenge of making the painting look exactly like the photo is met. There is no art to it. It’s a form of showing off technical skills. “See what I can do!?” If I make an exact copy of a Cézanne still life, who is the artist me or Cézanne? My copy shows skill but not creativity. And if there is no creativity, there is no real art. ---------------- This collection looks like a competition for most ugly.
