Hey Abhishek, great stuff. One small suggestion. Please talk about the machine details for a few seconds highlighting the CPU, RAM, GPU type etc, especially when it comes to training LLms and all. Thanks!

how much GPU memory do you have sir? ... I can't run the script because of an OutOfMemoryError! is there a way to compress the model even further?

How many GB of RAM you need for this application? 100 GB?

it took 10gb gpu memory. i didnt check ram but less than 16 i guess. max i have is 32

note the 4 bit part which makes it memory efficient 🙂

@@abhishekkrthakur Hi thanks for your tutorial. I was trying to use my GPU machine which is AWS g5.4xlarge supposed to be 24GB GPU memory . I used the 7b model , but it did not work saying it needs more memory. Even on Huggingface if I try to run 7b model it complains about the memory requirement of 31GB. Can you please help me in how you managed to get a 10GB footprint.
