I thought the judges would save Xia Yan, she was (in my opinion) the best rapper in all performances and she is a great dancer and singer, but because of the top 9 her cell didn't shine as much as the rest, they were all given short parts. It's a shame, I hope we'll see her in the future.

Please, i hope after this show Xia Yan got more recognition. Her fanbase is still growing since YWY. She is individual trainee in both show but you can see her big improvement despite not training in any company. From angelic vocalist in YWY to badass rapper in GP999. All the love and luck to Xia Yan, don't give up. Idk why netizen keep sleeping on all of this precious all rounder.

I feel so sad for Rayeon. She's so gorgeous, has a potential and more importantly I love her attitude. The fact that she did everything to make her team mates not lose their confidence. Sadly, we can't save them all.

that sunwoo girl doesnt deserve to be eliminated..her performance in Fiesta was outstanding..she has a stable vocals too.

The fact NOBODY is mentioning Gu Yizhou in the comments shows she was the true underrated trainee of the show. She had a beautiful low voice but could also sing with a higher voice, she was one of the best dancers on c group, and she even pulled a rap that it was not her position. She never disappointed, had a consistent and good performance but nobody noticed her.

it's really sad that no one talks about liu shiqi. q-teen's seventeen perfomance wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for her, reaching that high note, but it was like she went unnoticed by the judges. such a pity

Dayeon had the talent AND the popularity. The only reason she was eliminated is the cell system. If this was produce she would have made it to second round. So unfortunate.

since i barely see any j group names mentioned, here are a few that i would have liked to see stay longer: okazaki momoko (yes or yes 2), terasaki hina (ssfwl 1), andou rinka (hylt 2), and hiyajou nagomi (fiesta 1)! they all did great in their group peformances and deserve more recognition (as does j group as a whole)

dayeon was the reason i watch gp999, she’s an all rounder. she has the visual, great vocal, good stage presence, amazing dance, and her aura is immaculate. now that she’s eliminated i dont know whether to keep watching or not :((. also just wanna say that i freaking hate this cells system, these poor talented girls are eliminated just because their cells are not as good/popular as they’re.

I feel selecting as a whole team of three was unfair.. many deserving candidates were eliminated due to weak teammates. Public will only vote for their fav not for the other two obviously. Most shocking was xia yan her rap was better than cai bing

I was so sad Daeyon, Seunguen, and Kim Sein didn't advance :( they're all so talented... And Seunguen's confidence and leadership really spoke to me

Xia Yan’s rap in HYLT was so good and honestly much more captivating than Cai Bing’s rap. She carried that performance and stood out the most. I personally think she has more charisma and skill that many of those who went through. :(

No one's talking about Sim Seungeun. She gave a very shocking dance in ep 2 and a crazy freestyle dancing. She gave her best as a leader and Mnet did gave her a decent screentime. She deserved to not get eliminated and so does the other trainees as well

don’t forget Momoko!! she deserves so much more and I feel like everyone was sleeping on her. which sucks, since (imo) she was one of the most capable trainees there was. y’all are missing out on an insanely talented person I just hope Momoko can debut in a group at some point, since she works best in a team (ex. Sakura Gakuin + babymetal) and she honestly deserves the best. this shouldn’t be a popularity contest, but a contest of legitimate talent; because if it was, I’m 99% sure she would’ve ended up debuting. it just sucks how many people gloss over her. I’m still mad about this if you couldn’t tell

I hate this cell thing. So many girls who no one knows about with average talent made it just because they have a popular person in their cell. Also the x2/x3 votes is just too much since it's so much up to chance who you're going against and who's going to win.

I feel so bad for Seungeun, she was the main dancer and maknae of the group BVNDIT (Under MNH) who had some amazing songs, but have gone on an unofficial hiatus since October/November 2020 (most likely because of corona but there have been no personal social media posts or any updates from any of the members or company (still nothing from either of them) until we saw Seungeun on girlsplanet999). She had so much potential to get a new start here and I'm so sad because I think she would have made it if not for the cell system :(( Also Dayeon would've gotten through if not for cells because her talent>>>>>>>> I feel so bad for all of them since all the girls have talent, but I'm sure we'll see them debut in other places if not through here :))

it seemed through individual voting that xia yan got the recognition she deserved from her performance in hylt by ranking c8, but it's too bad the pod voting system screwed her out of another chance to show her skills in future episodes

They both haven’t been getting much screentime there and I’m afraid history will repeat itself!! They both probably consider this their last chance as well!!) Sunwoo getting eliminated is just so unfortunate, she was one of the most talented trainees on the show, she did everything right, but got ZERO screentime ;/ Ando Rinka, Rayeon and Xia Yan as well!! Ando Rinka’s glare gave me goosebumps during HYLT, Rayeon’s voice is incredible and Xia Yan was arguably the best all rounder on the show! I also feel bad for Liu Shi Qi, she finally got to show her true potential in the group performance, she could’ve been an amazing addition to the final lineup!!

To all the ppl who were hating on dayeon She was the one who put the grp together and how do y'all expect her to react when she was pushed back in the grp she created expecting show her full potential and others trainees were saying that she should've discussed with them while dayeon clearly asked Fu yaning for changing parts and yaning straight up shut her down and to note that she was the only one who even asked for changes (even though some others wanted change too but they never asked and they are the same ppl who told that they should have discussed it first) and let me tell you Fu yaning was a terrible leader before even asking for their opinions she straight up declared that she will be the leader because she is older!! I mean gurl what are u saying if that was the case every kpop should have the oldest as their leader but it's clearly not. To conclude Dayeon was robbed and she Deserved so much better!!

Felt that for shiqi and sunwoo. Their vocals were so strong and yet they barely got any acknowledgement from the judges and so little attention was placed on them through editing despite being main vocals. They were pushed into the shadows which easily manipulated how people voted. I'm just glad people still recognised reinas talent even though she didn't get much acknowledgement either

You have a really good eye for potential. They were eliminated as they didn't performed well in the first two rounds before the so people were not able to guess their potential Dayeon, Xia, Sunwoo these three suffered because of bad cell choices. Dayeon was the only high rank korean (ranked 14 after voting) who was eliminated while Xia (ranked 9 after voting) was one of the two top chinese who got eliminated. Both had immense potential also the mic drop round rapper was amazing as well but she was hidden for soo long that she was eliminated. Guys whoever reading this - Bora, Ah jeongmin, Doah these cells have gems inside them. Also Myah cell is also a great cell. Please Don't let them get eliminated. Also top cells will get votes even if we don't give them but if we don't save these gems they would share the same fate. The competition is high 9 places are there WE NEED A VOCALIST LIKE BORA FOR SURE OR WE WOULD BE LISTENING TO CRAP MUSIC AND AUTOTUNE FOR THE TIME BEING
