Love your videos so much that my wife and I have decided to buy a Entegra Aspire and travel full time. Safe travels to you both.

I'd like to share that we bought a 2016 Aspire DEQ last summer and are very happy with the purchase. No serious issues. This is our third class A (2 Tiffin coaches before the Entegra) and each time there are issues that need to get fixed. The issues we have are with the competence of the technicians at the service centers rather than design flaws.

Your videos and the attitude or our local Entegra dealer convinced us to get either Newmar or American Coach. The problems you have documented and how often they seem to occur by reading forums really threw up a red flag. We wound up with a AC Tradition and got a recall notice day we got home. Outside of the recall only minor problems so far but time will tell. I understand having some problems but not like those you have documented especially when they repeat!

Wow such a beautiful coach and so many problems. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship is key to customer satisfaction. Your video speaks volumes to would be future customers. Good luck

Welcome back, and here we go again. I thought your first video back would be of a Nice trip. I guess I'll be holding on to my Monaco.. I was really looking at collecting a Aspire 44R next summer.. Oh Well..

I was so impressed with your new Entegra. It appeared to be a high end, high quality, unit that some day I had hoped to own.. The problems you have had and still experiencing are really surprising and disappointing to see. You seem to have a lot more patience than I would have. With RVing, there is always something that happens and goes wrong. That is expected. But you have had major issues, and many are simply a quality issue from the factory. While Entegra has reacted to your problems and I'm sure they will correct your step, I am starting to think they just don't know what they are doing or how to build a quality product. I hope they have a solution for you soon. My Entegra dreams are evaporating. They should be giving you a free extended warranty as you are going to need it.

When I was purchasing a coach, I wanted the most rugged and reliable motorhome I could find based on the vast array of poor quality reports. I found only two types of motorhomes that met this test, Prevost Bus based units and Class 8 Truck based units. Prevost has very complicated electronics which makes them less reliable than desired. I chose a Showhauler Motorhome built around a Freightliner Cascadia chassis; The same chassis that is used for commercial trucks pulling 80,000 pounds down the road every day. It has not failed me in any way since buying it over 2 years ago and 34,000 miles.

First, welcome back to the States! Second, Entegra step issue is problematic in more that just your coach. Two people I know have had on going problems and they are fed up with their coaches. One owner is using a large piece of plywood as a cover over the steps. I believe both owners have had their coaches in for step repairs for three and four times, respectfully.

For a short term fix, go to home depot and get a piece of plywood large enough to cover that hole for the passengers feet. Not a pretty fix but no one will fall in. What a shame for such a nice coach. Then once it's fixed save that piece of plywood until you're sure it's done rite. Hope this helps

I have heard a lot of horror stories from several name brand Motorcoachs. No matter what brand, you are going to have some problems ( hopefully small), it’s how the company stands behind you is what’s important. We own an Entegra 2015 Aspire and have had some small issues (remember you are driving your house on wheels in a 5.0 earthquake so there will be some little issues no matter what) and they have always backed us up. We live in our coach full time and are extremely happy with it and still believe Entegra builds one of the finest coaches on the market. We have talked about trading our coach in on a newer model and would never buy anything but Entegra. I know this sounds funny but it is important to name your coach straight off. It’s like a boat, it wards off bad juju.....lol

I’m curious if you still on an RV. My wife and I are on our second in three years, we went with Berkshire. But everything you show is exactly what we experience with Forest River and our dealership. Once you buy one of these vehicles, it doesn’t seem like it matters what you pay, you’re basically on your own. The shotty service in this industry is rampant. I frankly don’t think it matters who you buy it from. we’re into ours for close to half 1 million and it’s been an absolute nightmare from the start. The absolute negligence of the service repairs is epidemic.

Sorry to see you having troubles. You are quite right. Replacing fuses does not address the primary cause. Have them monitor and record the current when operating the steps and have them compare the current draw to a similar coach. When they actually fix the problem, the current draw should be nearly identical to a properly working vehicle.

That's it for me. I am REMOVING Entegra Coach for ANY CONSIDERATION as a quality manufacturer. I stood by with the alignment problem and was eventually satisfied. This door problem is it, they are done!

After all the Entegra bashing we have done, I have just carefully reviewed all the high end motorhomes and came to the conclusion that the Entegra is the best looking one, inside and out of them all. The web states they had quality issues 2 1/2 yrs ago. I hope they see this thread and get their act together.. Quality is paramount. It's the little things that count the most.

I was thinking about getting an Anthem or Cornerstone. Now I'm starting to have second thoughts. I understand that things may go wrong but at that price customerservice should be outstanding and they should be able to get things fixed and fixed right.

Maybe you should consult the attorney that specializes in RV lemons. This is just ridiculous! I wish you smoother & safe journeys.

I really feel that no matter how much you spend there will always be problems. They just can't build these things with the best quality and still make a profit. And the more complex the RV the more there is to go wrong. I wish you well. Maybe check out Greg RVhaulers on youtube.

As we know its not funny at this point, but bloody hell.. You came back to deal with this RV that keeps having strange little problems... Sorta like a rush to get it out the door.. was your RV made on a Fri before a long weekend man... It makes me feel bad that us in the USA trying to make something and do it well but this has become a joke on a mass proportion in my book.. One little thing here and there.. About the time you give up on it, it should start working just fine. .

In the European Union, you have a buy-back / forced recall option that you can exercise after six months of discovering a hidden defect, I am sure you have something like that in the US with a different name.

Wow that is not right . Maybe go to an outside repair shop and send them the bill. That should be an easy fix , it would have to be an exposed wire on or near the chassis as you have said. Hope you get it fixed soon and enjoy the rest of your trip.!!

Glenn; This even more depressing news than I had anticipated! Are aware of any other Anthem owners experiencing similar problems and the number of recurrences you seem to have had to endure? I have been shopping a variety of RV's and up to this point I was using Entegra as bench mark; however it now appears that I need to seriously reconsider those thoughts. For the amount of money they are charging one would expect not to have to put up this many problems with this vehicle. Please keep the rest of us informed as to the resolution of these problems and are they being covered under warranty? Besides that having to continually interrupt your travel plans to have service done also is not acceptable in this "class" of RV. Best of luck and hope that you do not continue to experience more or continuing reoccurrences of these problem, travel safe.

Repaired three times?! Could be a defective motor. Seems like they would hook up several meters and operate the unit until they trap the fault. Might take longer but it wouldn't be back in the shop three times. I tell you what, the biggest issue with businesses today is a failure to take ownership of a problem. BTW glad you guys are back online. Looking forward to your new adventures.

Sorry to hear about your ongoing problems. Seems like a minor thing, but this one is potentially very easy to suffer a serious injury. WIth Thor's recent purchase of Jayco, I suspect the glory days of Entegra are in the past. Thor drives all their brands into the ground - their philosophy is shiny on the outside, junk on the inside - and extract all the profits you can out of your suffering customers.

Get a breaker.... Trucks use re settable or thermal reset breakers in place of those auto fuses.

You think there would be an emergency release in case of emergency and no power.

The anger is building.....and rightfully so.

How many different problems dose this make? I was under the impression that the 2016's had breakers not fuses. From the posting you have made there has been 4-5 rather significant problems, ie: the step, the macerator connection, wheel bearing hub, and the most concerning s the recurrent steering problem. This being to give me pause when considering the purchase of an Entegra. What other problems have you encountered with this coach? Has Entegra made any efforts to resolve these problems and in particular......the steering. I was happy to hearing you say that you were treated well by Lazydays as I live near to one of their major outlets and was planning on dealing with them when it comes time to invest in our coach. Travel safe and I hope this is the end of all your difficulties.

I would like you to know I wrote a e letter to Entegra Coach regarding the issues with you coach stating, it has made me second guess my decision on the purchase of my Cornerstone Coach and I was concerned about the future of quality and service of Entegra Coach. I said the videos were my source for my concerns. I hope others do the same, then maybe you will and others having problems will get satisfaction and or better service. I have been looking at the Entegra and the Newmar. The Newmar is a bit more money but I think I will also go with the Newmar. I don't think I am as patient as you have been.

Glenn, having just found and now following you, and as a Hymer A Class owner, for $350k in hindsight you could have bought a top of the line German Concorde, shipped it to the US and had a year trouble free travelling and had change ,enjoyed the whole experience rather than buying American overpriced, underwhelming, poor build quality, etc etc. Great channel though.

I was looking at Entegra's but am now going with a Tiffin. Clearly you have not gotten what you paid for. #EntegraFAIL

I remember seeing the last video where the steering got solved and now we are back with the steps....That thing was jinxed since the start. Look how long ti too them to fix the steering. It is a disgrace spending that much money and then having to try and "wing" it yourself..

I never buy new rvs or cars. I let someone else take the first big depreciation and fix all the bugs.. I got myself a Fancy property in FL and a used rv for the price of that lemon. (I too live in Southern France)

take them to court. make them buy it back under the lemon law. I had issues with my fifth wheel. I took the manufacturing company to court and they were ordered to buy it back

Time for a truck camper.

These behemoth RV's are so complicated and over specced with electronics that they're bound to go wrong , especially with US build quality what it is . If it was german then ok but not with north american quality control . I have a 35 year old German built Hymer 900 These were hand built by Hymer to order ( only 28 in total made ) on a Mercedes 813 truck chassis . everything still works faultlessly and its a testament to German craftsmanship. if i were you i'd sell the Entegra and buy a 20 year old Prevost or a Vogue Prime Vista and spend the rest of the money on a chateaux in France !!

The single biggest issue with RV's is the integrity of the builders. They are NOT nearly at the same level as automobile manufacturers. Their workmanship and warranties suck. Their customer service sucks. They sell a RV to you and as soon as you drive off they don't give a damn about you. No business treats you nearly as badly as RV builders. This is the single biggest issue with the RV industry. The only exception is the ultra high-end builders that cater to the wealthy. I have checked out the BBB websites of a great many RV builders and the complaints of customers and, the pathetic excuses of the builders is truly eye opening and distressing. The problem is, apparently, the vast majority of potential customers never bother to check these things out. I have spoken to numerous RVers and many very experienced RVers tell us to NEVER buy from a dealer. Custom order your coach. Make arrangements to be at the manufacturer when your coach is being assembled. ALWAYS watch it every step of the way and, ask lots of questions about the processes you are witnessing. Make them itemize the warranty. What they are responsible for. What the truck manufacturer is responsible for. What the component companies are responsible for. Meet with the Quality manager and ask what they do to ensure the electrical system, water system, leaks, HVAC system, etc...are all properly sealed and functional. Will you get the 35% markdown of a desperate dealer? No. Will you get a far higher quality built coach? Yes. Your choice

YOU HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES WITH THAT BEAST OF A COACH. YOU WOULD THINK THAT YOU SHELL OUT 1/4 MILLION FOR AN RV YOU'D GET PERFECTION. AND IF NOT YOU'D GET 100℅ SATISFACTION FROM SERVICE. INTEGRITY IS VIRTUALLY SPELLED IN THE NAME IS A BIT MISLEADING. IF I HAD THAT KIND OF COIN TO SHELL OUT I'D BE LITERALLY CRAWLING UP SOMEONE'S ASS TO EITHER MAKE IT RIGHT OR CALL MY LAWYER TO GET IT RIGHT PLUS ANY AGGRAVATION I HAD TO PUT UP WITH. AND I'D SAY YOU HAVE PLENTY COMING YOUR WAY IN JUST AGGRAVATION ALONE. THEY'RE LEMON LAWS IN THE USA AND I THINK YOU HAVE PURCHASED A LEMON. I'D BE PUSHING FOR A NEW COACH OR A LAWSUIT. Typical North American Quality. I noticed this when I moved here 23 years ago that anything automotive was total garbage. We sold our RV this year and lost a pile of money on it and after fixing things constantly I could see how terrible the quality of an RV was. Selling the RV took a weight off my shoulders I was glad to see it go even at a loss. We are going to build a van ourselves eventually, might not be as fancy but at least it will have what we need, without paying ridiculous RV prices to dealers who do not back their products.

it's unfortunate but true. these units are built like junk. I had to spend a lot more to get quality you just have to make sure it's a Freightliner chassis not a Spartan the Cummins is indestructible I have nine hundred and twenty thousand miles on mine now

After watching all of your adventures ... and trials and tribulations you've gone through with this coach ... Entegra is off my list. Like you said ... it's the attention to details that appears to be lacking ... and I'll add ... quality control. These are the kind of experiences that can make or break a wonderful travel adventure ... and I'm not at all impressed with what I've seen with this manufacturer ... at the very least.

You keep having trouble with this coach. Makes me not want one of these.

Entegra was owned by Jayco. They build notoriously crappy RV's. Thor later bought them out. So beware, Thor's are just another giant piece of junk.

All I can say to you if you should have bought a better coach . If you didn't want to repairs you should of bought a high-end coach and then you could ship it back in their face .
