One of my favorite things is doing paint jobs and this one really pops against the jet black components on the bike for an absolutely beautiful color contrast. The color is very similar to the original color in the 1970 Harley brochure, but I greatly improved the depth and it’s a much better color shade while keeping true to the overall original paint color. I definitely agree, these vintage iron heads are definitely mechanical art especially compared to the plastic looking new bikes these days. I will do riding videos as well this summer so I hope you stay tuned. Take care!

Don’t worry big Ed, I had a sling tied to the engine hoist most of the build and a hard stop on the jack stand in case the hydraulics decided to let go. I know it looked a little scary but I had a Handle on it. Yes, that gold really pops and plays off the jet black items. It’s a great contrast. I just applied for the plate and sticker so it’s getting ready pretty soon. I still have a few things to address as usual. Take care Ed and thanks for checking in!
