Gorgeous fabric! You make it look so easy 😂 I’m using a tutorial to add precut trips of bias tape together before starting to sew it down and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve screwed up…with a video tutorial! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

I love the continuous bias-making method. It s so much faster than the traditional way. And, depending on how much tape,you need, you don’t have to cut the fabric beforehand and sew it together. Just mark the bias lines on the fabric, match and sew.

now help yourself a bit, remove thread from serger and run the marked bias thru the serger, round and round...super fast...

Also, just used this to make 40" of bias binding for a hood! 20" square and 4.5" wide tape, worked great!

Thank you so much for this video! I have saved various pics/vids to learn how to do this and, for some reason, my brain just couldn't figure it out... this video is really fast (but it can be paused!) and it was still the best one I've seen for making bias tape! (Now that it makes sense, I feel kinda stupid! lol)

I generally make my binding 2.5". Same method just wider lines?

Mathematically the process will work with any square of material. The larger your square the more bias binding you end up with…the wider your binding the larger your square needs to be.
