I made one of these for the Linus project, but I'd love to make a rectangular one on my couch. I was wondering if it would work the same way if I just made a longer chain like the Granny Square retangulars?

I love the fact that you are working on a black background! It makes it so much easier to see and doesn't strain my eyes as so many others do. And instead of using your finger to point to a stitch, you use a needle to demonstrate where to hook. Thank you for making things so easy for this easily confused learner! 💟

I just finished this using baby blanket yarn which measures 50 x 51”. I’m almost 70 and just started crocheting with this Covid stay at home. You are a very good teacher. I’m legally blind and could enlarge the picture and see where a stitch was supposed to go. Thank you so much. Wish I could send you a picture.

This is perfect! I just thought “hmm I think I’ll make a granny square style blanket, but spiraled with two different colors... I wonder if there’s a KZfaq video for that.” Your’s was the first one the video list so I didn’t need to look further since you did so well explaining. You explained everything very thoroughly! Thank you! You made this tutorial very easy to follow, and I love the look of this pattern! I also like the black background for contrast. Using the knitting needle to help to locate the next stitch is very helpful!

I’ve always struggled to figure out whether the loop that starts a stitch is the loop to count when making the next row, or whether it’s the loop coming out of the stitch instead, especially on stitch ups. You made it super clear, thanks!!!
