how do I adjust the % level? it says normal healthy adult 30-50%. and how many minutes should a healthy person use?

If I'm on 4 l of continuous flow from an oxygen concentrator, will a portable oxygen concentrator work for me? Is there a titration test that will answer this question?

Respironics Simply go (not mini) offers continuous flow up to 2 Ltrs and weighs just over 10 LBs ..I am supposed to have 2 continuous but i can use pulse so long as i adjust it to match my activity level .. i can use 2 pulse at full rest on a good day but at a slow walk i need to bump it up to 3 and sometimes 4 (until my saturation goes up) .. (a simply go will go as high as 6 pulse if you find yourself in distress) Talk to you doctor and keep a oximeter with you to keep track of your saturation ..

My question is: Is there a mathematical formula to find the equivalent dose between flow and pulse .. I know all machine are slightly different but is there a close idea like: i'm on 2 continuous should is consider 3 pulse to be about the right ball park?

Unfortunately no because pulse flow is based upon the patient's breath rate (ie how quickly, strongly, and often you inhale) which is different for everyone. Continuous flow is based upon delivering liters per minute despite variations in breath rate.

very helpful, i didn't know that the portables were only pulse flow until now. been wanting to buy one of them but now, maybe i should just stick with the tanks but they are so heavy and pain in the ass. i'm trying to find the best stationary that will pump out as strong as the hospitals do when hooked up to them at the clinic and also trying to find the best portable now, 2019. thx for the vid.
