yeah, dunno why but they always do that, they let the timer run 2-3sec more at the end of almost each runs, it's pretty silly

They had the WR holder for hard mode play normal mode and the WR holder for normal mode play hard mode.

I saw 6: 54 while browsing for runs and had to see this. Figured it was a glutch run but I didn't even think something like that could happen. Very neat. Still prefer full runs because skipping in Contra is kind of missing the point of playing the game.

the majority of videos these speedrunners do are exploiting glitches, often at the expense of enjoying the game, so i don't see this run as being any different

In defence of those who whined regarding how this was executed, they could specify the run type in the title. I for one keep confusing some runs due to this namely the Mario Sunshine runs. Although I agree people should atleast check the category since it says what it is in the top left. (in this case Deathwarp).
