Kindly enlighten me because you're discussing Illegality but the title says Privity.. Isn't privity about the fact that only parties to the contract are bound by the contract and can't confer obligations to non-parties with some exemptions of course.

I learn more watching your videos then I do in my studies. Thank you very much :) I recently received a parking fine. They are attempting to charge a total of £162, The car park has sold it to a debt collectors and now a solicitors, however I don't understand and feel it doesn't meet the following. “Reasonable notice for an unfair term, a party seeking to rely on an unfair term must demonstrate that they gave reasonable notice. Meaning that they took reasonable steps to bring the terms to the attention of the reasonable person” “Where the term is particularly onerous the person seeking to rely on the term must take greater measures in bring it the attention of another party” any advice? Thanks again for all your videos

How does Privity relate to illegality ? The presumption in privity is that there is enforceability but how a third party, eg a beneficiary can or cannot be party to the contract between promisor and promisee ?
