Seems like it benefits the company rather than the employee. At any time, the company could just say that they don’t want you anymore. There’s no job security for an employee in that situation. Great for the business, not the employee.

i definitely hear you. believe it or not ive seen more job seekers want contract to hire bc of how bad they have been burned. but yes if you arent working through a recruiter that has a good relationship with the client a contract to hire situation it can be messy

What are your thoughts on this CTH scenario. You get in for a cth for 6 months. They don't dump you after 6 months, and they do not convert to a fte. They just keep you on contract.

this is honestly a great question. first thing i would ask is are you working through a recruiter? if you are i would go to them and ask why. i would also let them know that if the client cant convert you full time immediately you need to look elsewhere
