True to Debbie’s biography of her life with Ian Touching From A Distance !, this scene is so true and actually happened according to the book ironically ! Very sad ! 40 years ago this May! RIP Ian !

Also Debbie & Natalie where both present on set during the making if this film apart from a couple of scenes ( Debbie was kept away from the end scene where he kills himself she obviously chose not to be there during the filming of that scene) but apart from those few occasions she and Natalie where there with Debbie giving advice to the actor / actress playing herself & Ian to make it that more believable.

@@jamesonjaksch6800Even if it was their biggest mainstream hit, that shouldn’t take away from it. It’s definitely a stand out in their discography. It’s haunting, and beautiful. I don’t blame anyone who says it’s their favourite, and if you’re here watching clips from Control. I can imagine you’re a fan anyway so who cares, no need to gatekeep mate
